And here you go... I told you I'd eventually get some pics up.

Quick update: Mommy and Judah are doing as well if not better than could be expected. In a little over a week, Miriam will be 34+ weeks and Judah will be older than Gabe was at birth. The doctors say Dec. 1st will be the approx. induction date if she doesn't deliver first... so keep praying that everyone stays healthy, happy and comfortable. (including daddy )

Well, today comes the big announcement everyone has been waiting for... it's a BOY!... again!

Yup. We're single-handedly trying to replenish the lack of male blood on both sides of our family. We are also the only members of Miriam's side to have more than one boy.

Miriam, while just a smidge dissapointed (but she won't tell me that) is glad to have another little boy to spoil and wrestle. Gabe will definately be happy when he gets old enough to realize what's coming.

The "shocking" reference comes from the monsterous squall that moved through Huntington while the nurse was performing the ultrasound. The storm knocked out power in the medical complex not once... but twice! That meant a complete reboot of the system each time (a long process...). Lighting also struck in the parking lot right outside the window of the room we were in! The nurse nearly jumped out of her skin.

...but, at the least, we've come away with the good news that both mommy and baby Jude are as healthy if not more so than can be expected. That's an answer to all your prayers! Thank you!

More pics will be posted as they become available. We didn't have many this time due to the factors already explained.

Had our first ultrasound today. The baby is looking good and healthy! (and active like Gabe)

He/She is measuring a little bigger than normal so we'll probably have another early delivery... but that's no problem. The only one who may be disappointed is mom. (who, as I told you before, wants a Christmas baby)

This'll be kinda brief... not because it isn't important but because I've got a bunch of stuff to attend to and don't have time to elaborate.

Anyways, looks like another Waller is on the way! He/she will make a great little Christmas gift for us! I know you're wondering why we would want to do this to this poor kid... (a Christmas-time birthday) but this was momma's wish. (She has a Dec. 26 birthday)

Somehow I thought getting older would give me better sense. I guess not...

Last night was the typical Men's Fellowship meeting: Bible study and basketball... only we found a pigskin hidden deep within the kitchen (don't ask me why) so we decided on a little two-hand touch. All was well and things wrapped up around 9:15pm. We were starting to make our way out of the building when one of the guys issued a quick challenge to stop him on a punt return... via tackle. Now considering this was on a linolium surface it was hardly safe but nonetheless, we couldn't resist. From what I remember, it was his second attempt (I got him good the first time around ) I was on his beat and then, I guess, lunged into him and took a crack to the head by his knee. No one was sure if it was the knee or the floor that put me out but I was clearly gone for a few moments. Details from there are sketchy. I was kinda like a computer during a reboot.

After a trip to the ER and a CT scan, it turns out I got a minor concussion and now I get to deal with about 75-80% lucidity, nasty headaches and a sore jaw for at least the next few days.

In summary, I have relearned, the hard way, that despite how tough you think you may be... the court is made for basketball and football was meant to be played with helmets.

(P.S. Please excuse me if I mispelled anything or if I'm not making any sense. I'm still not all here. I'll have to do all my corrections in a couple days.)

Well, Gabe is graduating today from the baby/newborn nursery. He'll now be back with his pals in the Little Blessing's nursery for toddlers! He gets to play with the big kids again but he's no longer the top dog.

I think the move is harder for mom than for him. She knows that she doesn't have a little baby boy anymore. I guess this means that a new one will have to come into the picture soon...

I was reminded today that people love babies, so I have good news. I bring forth more baby pics... not more of Gabe's pics... but pics of my great nephew, Timothy Ising. (BTW, great nephew as in the son of my nephew... though he is a pretty good kid. )

He was actually born back in Sept. but it took me 6 months to get Gabe's pics on this site... so I think I'm doing much better this time around!

Well, a full year (almost ) has passed in the life a Gabriel Matthew Waller and he has come a long way... from a 5 1/2 lbs. premie to a 25 lbs. (and very tall) ball of pure energy! In celebration, I have uploaded a new cluster of pics that I have neglected to post until now plus some new ones. I hope you enjoy!
